About the Event
About the Winery:
The Sea Wine 'The transformation that wine undergoes during the underwater maturation process represents the spirit of our winery: in continuous movement and constantly seeking new ways to bring innovation to the wine sector."
The Sea Wine Club is the first winery in the world to develop an oenological project that studies the evolution of wine in the sea and to launch its own line of wines with underwater maturation; a process that sets them apart from conventional wineries.
The location, the depth, immersion time and storage temperature are all factors that give their product a unique character and essence; this is all owing to the Mediterranean Sea. Submerged in the bay of Alicante, a mile and a half off of the Cabo de la Huerta, the bottles mature for six months to become a true luxury.Club is the first winery in the world to develop an oenological project that studies the evolution of wine in the sea and to launch its own line of wines with underwater maturation; a process that sets us apart from conventional wineries. Because we understand the tradition of wine as a basis on which to propose new ways of evolution in the sector.'
Pepe Marín, the director of the winery, explains that the main secret lies in the constant movement and vibration that the sea currents bring to the bottles, which causes the particles of the wine to erode, producing a chemical change inside the bottles that brings new nuances, aromas and smoothness to the wine. Join us in welcoming him, and compare and contrast his land and sea wine!
